Chase has taken starting school to a whole new level. She packed her own lunch. Yesterday... Right after school... She then proceeded to make a lunch for Reese complete with a peanut butter sandwich. Luckily I looked into the bag before to long and realized it needed to be refrigerated. What a non-selfish gesture, this does not come easily to Chase. So she gets major props.
Carpooling has changed my life, seriously. I can't believe it didn't happen until Savanna started 3rd grade. Right now I would normally be in the car, and instead I am still in my p.j.'s blogging. Life doesn't get much better.
Oh yes, Little Miss Reese started preschool yesterday. I know, a lot of big changes at the Whittaker's. I had the time, so I went to the store, bought cream of tartar for the first time, came home and made a batch of orange play dough for Chase's class. I hate to sound predictable, but it was so QUIET, almost a little eerie.
So for the two maybe three gals reading this post, my house has never been cleaner, EVER, in 8 years. You know how we all wonder: am I just a complete mess will my house always be like this? The answer is a resounding "no". You just have to get the last little one in school. The moral of the story is not to try and hurry the process up, its to enjoy all the stages. Relax and let your house be a bit of mess. Its not you, its your kids.

Very encouraging.
I love it: "it's not you, it's your kids."
How true!
Enjoy your time.
It's not you, it's your kids!!!" You should write for the New York Times. Hilarious.
I'm not in any hurry for my girls to grow up but I do look forward to the day when I can empty the dishwasher all by myself. Hey - we all have our own dreams.
