My Dad's birthday

Its taken me longer than a week to post this. Every time I started I would be stuck with technical difficulties, writers block, or the ever present interruptions associated with having three girls.
November 11th has 3 special components. 1. My Dad Leland's Birthday. 2. My Sister Hillary's birthday. 3. My Brother Leland's Anniversary. A few more interesting facts. Hillary's son Warren shares my same birthday, I mean what are the odds? No seriously, if your a math genius could you please figure the odds out. Hillary was born only 11 months after our older sister Holly. So for one month every year they are the same age.
Like Daughter like Father, you've heard the saying :). Though not in that order. Something I've noticed about my Dad is that he really does have a Sixth Sense. If you knew how many time I've picked up the phone when I was at a breaking point in my life to hear his voice on the line it would astound you. He has a very strong presence in my life and can comfort in ways most cannot. I have received some very special Priesthood Blessings from him. He always sends me and the kids mail. He has me and Danny's diplomas framed in his bedroom. He likes to shop :). He listens to his music really loud, and is engrossed in several books at a time. He knows his Scriptures and has always encouraged us to read them EVERYDAY, EVERYDAY, EVERYDAY. We learned early that, "repetition is the mother of skill". He believes ~in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men~.
13th article of faith
Up above is me and my Gram at Disneyland. My dad's Mom. And I just thought of this, my daughter Savanna was born on her birthday February 8th. Her name was Anna Marie Jones Anderson and 2 of my girls share her namesake. This captures exactly who she is happy in a feisty kind of way. She never seemed annoyed. Why is that a big deal you wonder, just think about the last time you had a playdate or all of the cousins running around your house and I'll rest my case. She used to buy me and my cousin Sara those Lee Press on Nails at pic-n-save in California every time we visited. She took me shopping at the ESPRIT store the summer before I started 7th grade. She and my Grandpa were sealed in the LA Temple while my Dad was serving a mission in Germany.
This next picture is of your truly when we lived in Utah. I had a bit of a trampoline accident, but my mom didn't drive me to the ER. She drove me to My dad's office and he sewed me back together. This isn't the only time in my life that my dad's medical services were required.
